Immigrant Family Services Coordinator
The University YMCA seeks a mission-driven professional to provide leadership for the New American Welcome Center’s community outreach programs on the Immigrant Family Services (IFS) team including, but not limited to: Community Navigators, Tutoring, and Small Business Support. The IFS Coordinator will oversee Community Workers, programs, resources, and play a key role in the execution of NAWC’s mission. The IFS Coordinator will work with NAWC staff, collaborating organizations, volunteer leaders, and student programs in designing and delivering quality programs.
Community Worker
The University YMCA seeks a mission-driven professional to connect the local immigrant community with resources both internal and external to the New American Welcome Center. The Community Worker will be responsible for equipping the community through outreach, education, referrals, and case management. The Community Worker will work closely with the Immigrant Family Services Coordinator and NAWC staff. The Community Worker will also supervise and equip a team of Community Navigator volunteers.
Immigration Legal Assistant
The University YMCA seeks a mission-driven professional to provide direct immigration legal services and assistance for NAWC clients. The Immigration Legal Assistant will be responsible for completing client intake, providing immigration legal consultations, and preparing cases for submission to USCIS. They will work closely with the Legal Services Manager and the NAWC team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality immigration legal services to local immigrant communities. The Immigration Legal Assistant will also receive training for DOJ partial accreditation through the University YMCA.
